Our curriculum comprehensively addresses the content that every child should learn in core subjects and strengthens the foundations every child needs to know to be successful.
Our curriculum meets and exceeds the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) standards for student progress toward mastery. Holy Cross Catholic School also prepares students to become active and responsible citizens of the global community by developing their decision-making, technical, physical, and higher logical thinking skills.
Standards around language arts and literature, history and geography, mathematics, science, music, and the visual arts result in students who think critically and solve problems, achieve higher test scores, and be more responsible, informed citizens. By the time our students reach high school, they read, think, write and present at a very high level, are confident of their ability to learn, and often out-perform their peers from traditional public schools.
Teachers, staff, and families support this curriculum in many ways. And, through frequent communication between home and school, families remain engaged in and informed about their child’s learning and performance.
