Favorite Saint and why:  St. Monica-She persevered in prayer for her son for 20 years, her faith is inspiring.

Favorite Free Time Activity:  I love to read(big surprise), take walks, cook, and bake.

Favorite Moment at HCCS:  My first time experiencing the exposition of the blessed sacrament for adoration as a whole school. It was so beautiful!

Favorite Children's Book:  Nearly an impossible question, I'll say Owl Moon by Jane Yolen.

Favorite Place in Minnesota:  Anywhere on the North Shore.

Qualities Your Favorite Teacher Possessed:  Sr. Teresa was gentle, joyful, and fun.

When/how you knew you wanted to work in education:  I first started thinking about it in 6th grade, in high school I saw the huge difference a good teacher could make and I wanted to be that teacher.

Education:  AA from Bemidji State University, BS Language Arts from the University of MN.
