Favorite Saint and why:  Saint Martha: she manages to be direct, say how she feels, takes action all while loving Jesus.

Favorite Free Time Activity:  I love to embroider, go for hikes, bake/cook, and basically anything that involves spending time with the people I am closest to.

Favorite Moment at HCCS:  Playing in the preschool room during my time when I am not teaching!

Favorite Children's Book:  The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

Favorite Place in Minnesota:  BlueNose Coffee in Farmington, MN.  They have the BEST chai tea lattes!

Qualities Your Favorite Teacher Possessed:  My favorite teacher was relatable, flexible, and down to earth in his teaching style, but always held us to high standards and helped us learn excellence in the Music Education field.

When/how you knew you wanted to work in education:  I first went to college wanting to be a music performance major, but during my junior year of college I fell in love with elementary music education and never looked back.

Education:  Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education and Classroom Music at the University of St. Thomas.
