Favorite Saint and why:  Mother Teresa performed simple acts of kindness, compassion, and love selflessly throughout her entire life.  My favorite quote of Mother Theresa is " Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do but how much love we put in that action. “

Favorite Moment at HCCS:  Every day in Religion Class. My most treasured moments with my students during religion class include the Kindergarten Baptism Celebration, Rosary Days, and Corporal Act of Mercy Project (Letters to retired Priests and Sisters)
Favorite Children's Book:  Charlotte's Web. I can vividly remember my school teacher reading this story each day in class.

When/how you knew you wanted to work in education:  I wanted to originally be a pediatric nurse however I knew the hours would not be family-friendly so I changed my major to education (preschool and elementary) to explore the world of education. I absolutely fell in love with the field of education via hands-on teaching opportunities throughout college.
